Diplomato al Conservatorio di Trento con Jiri Sedlak, si è perfezionato con Guido Corti, a Chicago con Dale Clevenger e Arnold Jacobs e a Oslo con Froydis Ree Wekre. Nel 1991 è stato premiato al concorso internazionale cornistico di Porcia (Pordenone) e nel 1997 vince il primo premio al concorso per corno "G.Zoppi" di Asti. Dal 1997 al 1999 è stato primo corno del Teatro San Carlo di Napoli. Attualmente è terzo corno dell' Arena di Verona. Nel 2001 ha vinto con il Gomalan Brass Quintet il primo premio al concorso internazionale "Città di Passau" (Germania) per brass ensemble.
He obtained his diploma at the Conservatory of Trento with Jiri Sedlak; he made his specialisation with Guido Corti, in Chicago with Dale Clevenger and Arnold Jacobs and in Oslo with Froydis Ree Wekre. In 1991 he was awarded a price at the international horn-competition of Porcia (Pordenone) and in 1996 he won the "G.Zoppi" french horn competition in Asti. From 1997 to 1999 he was principal horn at the San Carlo Theatre of Naples. At present he is third horn of the Arena of Verona. In 2001 he won with the Gomalan Brass Quintet the first price in the Passau competition, Germany, an international competition for brass instrument ensembles. |
